We could not have had a more beautiful summer
evening for our Volunteer Appreciation party on the patio of the Waukegan
Harbor.
The Design Committee found a quiet corner to have their
committee meeting.
Catherine Jimerson, Margaret Kilbane and Lauren Kilbane
were invaluable keeping future volunteers entertained.
Hank Bogdala received an award for producing his well
attended "Sounds of Summer" concert series this summer in Benny Plaza
Jay Stephen received an award for volunteering his
considerable photographic talent
Peg Nash received an award for initiating a connection
and becoming our liaison with T.O.W.N's
Green Town Project.
And if you have not visited the demonstration garden at Genesee and Water
Street you should get out there right now!
Bob Stefonowski was recognized for his years of
volunteer service for Main Street and for coming back for more after serious
health problems this year!
