What a crazy idea!
To emphasize the importance of urban parks, towns across the country are
transforming a few downtown parking spaces into cute little parks.

The City of Waukegan and its partners are
participating in this national program as a means to draw attention to our
wonderful green spaces in Waukegan and what can be done with a small green
space. We are lucky, the City has had the foresight to build two convenient
parking garages which provides opportunity for use of current surface
parking lots as future redevelopment sites.
